BHUTAN CULTURAL TREK
Bhutan cultural trek offers a short, easy and enjoyable journey through some of the scenic and unforgettable landscape of Bhutan offering something for all visitors regardless of experience. It takes you through dramatic vistas letting you experience the rich flora and fauna, amazing natural landscape, breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain peaks that provide a sense of awe and wonder and a point of contemplation for trekkers along the way. Trekkers will also get an opportunity to explore outlying villages and settlements. You will find cultural, historic and natural attraction galore along with excellent mountain top ancient golden roofed monasteries, temples and dzongs, which are some of the visible distinctive features of the kingdom and stands out as important living historical architectures.
If you are on the right time, visitors will also get an opportunity to participate in the vibrant spiritual celebration known as Tshechu (festival). It is a spectacle social occasion with ancient mythical performance. During this grand religious events, it is believed that everyone must attend the Tshechu and the entire community comes together to witness the religious mask dances, receive spiritual blessing and socialize. The festival lasts between three to five days depending upon the program and celebrated throughout the country at different dates and locations. The festivals are held in the ground of the temple, monasteries and dzongs with a colorful architectural background providing something to all visitors about the rich cultural heritage of Bhutan.
